CTC. 3. Rhythm Pages. Simple Meter. Sixteenths and Triplets. 32 Pages.
Description
Count Tap Clap is a method for teaching, learning and practicing rhythm and subdivision and the relationship between rhythm and pulse.
Download Includes: Instructor Notes and 32 Rhythm Pages. Simple Meter. Sixteenths and Triplets.
Total: 34 pages.
Each CTC “Rhythm Page” focuses on a specific rhythm pattern and the subdivisions of that rhythm.
From one line to the next, one can clearly see and feel how a rhythm pattern is “constructed,” one step at a time. These pages are suitable for students learning to read music as well as anyone needing to “fill in the gaps” of his or her understanding of subdivision and reading rhythm. Plus, they are just fun to practice.
Note: On each “Rhythm Page,” at the end of each line, there is either a long note or a rest. This time can be used in a variety of ways:
1 – to practice the elusive skill of counting long notes and rests.
2 – to recover from possible/inevitable failure of counting, tapping or clapping.
3 – to provide instruction or redirection, when working with a student or ensemble.
Happy Practicing!
